On April 26, 2025, under a wide Idaho sky painted with blue and dotted with fluffy white clouds, Milestones Studios brought a vision of springtime wedding magic to life. Nestled in the quiet charm of Wilder, Idaho, Garman Hill Wedding & Event Venue served as the perfect backdrop for a stunning styled shoot that showcased the very best of what spring weddings have to offer.
From wedding photography to beauty services, officiating, florals, and full wedding planning and day-of coordination, our team pulled together every detail to highlight not just the venue, but the experience of a truly cohesive wedding day—Milestones style.
The Venue: Garman Hill Wedding & Event Venue
Owned by Kris Garman and managed by Rose Leist, Garman Hill is one of Idaho’s most exciting new wedding venues. Surrounded by wide-open views and framed by rolling hills, this hidden gem is a dream for couples looking for a tranquil yet breathtaking setting. On this particular April day, the venue was glowing—its fresh landscaping and elegant ceremony spaces bathed in golden sunlight.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was the perfect place to tell a spring wedding story. The peacefulness of the location combined with the rustic-elegant design offered us everything we needed to inspire future couples and showcase how magical a spring wedding in Wilder can be.
The Vision: Designed for Spring
The spring wedding theme was brought to life by Jenna of Milestones Planning. She envisioned a celebration that felt fresh, elegant, and joyfully romantic—everything a spring bride dreams of. From the color palette of spring florals to the organically styled arrangements bursting with seasonal blooms, every element was designed to celebrate new beginnings.
Jenna not only designed the overall look but also created all the florals for the shoot, including the stunning bridal bouquet, ceremony installations, and ceremony ground design. Each piece reflected the freshness of spring, with a mix of fresh flowers for the bouquets and silk florals for the ceremony piece adding soft color and rich texture.
Capturing the Moments: Milestones Portraits
Amy, our lead photographer and founder of Milestones Portraits, captured the shoot beautifully. With over 15 years of wedding photography experience, she has a remarkable ability to find the perfect angle and lighting—especially when the setting is as naturally stunning as Garman Hill.
Her wedding photography style is romantic, timeless, and full of emotion. From quiet portraits of our couple with the hills stretching behind them to lively group shots and dreamy close-ups of floral details, Amy’s images tell the story of the day with an editorial elegance that still feels deeply personal.
The Couple: Real Love, Real Style
Our real-life married couple, Sean and Staci McKenzie, graciously modeled as bride and groom, bringing their own wedding attire and joyful energy to the shoot. Their chemistry was undeniable, and their genuine love for each other brought authenticity and warmth to every photo.
Staci was joined by her maid of honor, Brooke Blau, and bridesmaids Riley Renko and Jacey Burden. The gentlemen—Landon Quaintance and Cody Hanes—rounded out the bridal party alongside Sean. Each brought charisma and style, dressed to complement the spring color palette with soft, romantic touches that tied the whole aesthetic together.
The Guests: A Full Celebration
No styled wedding shoot is complete without the energy of a true celebration, and our group of guests added exactly that. Thank you to Samuel Withers, Tia Wood, Audrey Hansen, Bryce Johnson, Kay Colson-Casebolt, Kalea Hebner, Katherine Alvarado, Leneya Brown, Anisha Aum, and Dylan Payne for joining us and bringing laughter, movement, and life to the reception scenes. Their presence helped us create a full, dynamic wedding story—from ceremony to party. Please note that the dress code was spring colors, so the entire theme was cohesive.
Beauty Services by The Vanity Beauty
Our in-house beauty expert, Jacey Burden, worked her magic to create fresh, spring-inspired bridal looks that were soft, radiant, and camera-ready. With glowing skin, subtle peachy tones, and perfectly styled hair, our bride and bridesmaids looked like they stepped out of a spring wedding fairytale.
Jacey brings a calming presence to wedding mornings, with an expert’s touch and an artist’s eye. Her ability to highlight natural beauty while ensuring all-day wear makes her a favorite among Milestones brides. From soft curls to elegant updos, the beauty styling added a perfect finishing touch to the day’s overall look.
Officiating the Moment
Though we didn’t perform a legal ceremony during the shoot, we wanted to include all the elements of a real wedding—including a moment of “I do.” Tyler with Milestones Union, Milestones Studios' in-house officiant (and beloved dad of the family business!), stood in to demonstrate how heartfelt and personal our officiating services truly are.
As a certified wedding officiant with a warm presence and years of wedding experience, Tyler personalizes every ceremony to fit each couple’s unique story. For this shoot, he helped create the emotional depth that makes a wedding feel meaningful, even in a styled setting. And he never forgets to move out of the way for the kiss!
The Cake: A Sweet Spring Statement
No wedding is complete without a show-stopping cake, and Crystal from Rose Hill Bakery delivered exactly that. Her elegant creation was adorned with real spring blooms that echoed the floral design throughout the day. The soft, romantic aesthetic paired with a touch of whimsy made it a focal point of the reception scene.
We are so grateful to Crystal for contributing such a beautiful (and delicious) detail to the shoot. Her artistry added another layer of beauty and celebration to an already stunning day.
