Wedding gifts to your friends and family for attending and celebrating your marriage is an important part of the overall wedding guest experience. Instead of providing your guests with something that will be eaten or even left behind, hire Joslyn with Painted! to offer your guests a custom portrait of themselves to take home. Every time they look at it, they will be reminded of your magical wedding day. This will be created during the reception, printed, and ready for your guests to take home before the night ends. You will also have the option to have a portrait of your guests printed for your guest book.
This is a great option for people to do during cocktail/mingle time while you are having portraits done after the ceremony.
When you hire Joslyn to provide your guests with custom digital portraits, this is what will happen: Joslyn and an assistant will set up at your reception space. There, your guests can come to her if they choose, and she will take a photo of them to make the custom artwork. Due to the time constraints, Joslyn will create images considered minimalist*. The wedding couple** will receive a complimentary digital portrait from Joslyn.
*Solid colors, no patterns, no facial features
**the wedding couple or guest(s) of honor if the event is a birthday or anniversary party must have their photo taken by Joslyn to have to art created. Due to time constraints, it could be mailed after the wedding.
The $99 set up fee is due upon booking to hold your wedding/event date and is nonrefundable.
This is our process:
I. Book the date.
To book your date please CONNECT WITH US. We can meet in person for a consultation or do everything via emails, zoom, or on the phone. Once we have all agreed we are a good fit for your special day, you will receive a contract to sign and questionnaire to fill out. If you are outside of Ada County Idaho and the surrounding areas, travel fees may apply. These fees are determined by your event details, such as location and times, mileage vs. flying. A non-refundable $99 setup fee will be due to hold your wedding or event date.
II. Take the photos.
For your wedding day, we will arrive a little beforehand to take a look at the venue and get familiar with the area to find a place to set up our printing station near the reception area. We will photograph those who want to have it done.
III. Deliver memories.
During your reception, the custom portraits will be created and printed in a 4x6 size for your guests who choose to participate.
